Van Winkle - West End, Glasgow.

A first solo show based on Alex’s very busy life and slightly warped outlook on it. Diplomas in sex therapy give a rudish bent to that humour. Five kids and five dogs who the only diffrence between is that he loves the dogs. Alex has come late to comedy after taking retirement from the NHS.. where he was a Forensic nurse for over 30 years. He decided to book his son a comedy course and when he backed out at last minute and he couldn’t get his money back. He decided to do it himself. He was quickly hooked and soon booked another with the legend of the Scottish comedy scene that is Viv Gee. Now he finds himself here with his first solo show come see the next step in this journey.
